# The SNAPS Modern Pendant Collection: Luxury Modular Lighting for High-End Interiors

 By [Hubbardton Forge](https://blog.hubbardtonforge.com/author/hubbardton-forge)

Discover the SNAPS Pendant Collection, a luxury modular lighting system from ART + ALCHEMY by Hubbardton Forge, designed for architects, interior designers, and discerning homeowners seeking bespoke lighting solutions. Crafted from premium leather, alabaster stone, and metal, this collection elevates the concept of modern luxury pendant lighting.

The SNAPS Collection goes beyond traditional lighting—it’s a customizable lighting solution for luxury homes, adaptable to both expansive open-plan spaces and intimate corners. Infused with cutting-edge LED technology, SNAPS fuses timeless materials with modern innovation, offering the perfect blend of craftsmanship and contemporary lighting design.

The beauty of SNAPS lies not only in the flow and movement of the leather straps and hand-carved alabaster stone but in its versatility. Both modular and scalable, SNAPS is a lighting system that can adapt to and enhance any space. With five basic products, plus optional extension straps (4 additional straps in 2 different lengths, offered with and without LED alabaster modules) to create longer lengths or more intricate designs, and an array of custom leather options from which to choose, SNAPS can be configured to create a design that is uniquely yours.

###### Designer Andy Morter captures the essence of the collection:

> “There’s just something inherently cool about snaps and leather.”

Inspired by this, the SNAPS Collection has evolved into a modular lighting system that’s fully scalable and tailored to meet the design demands of luxury residential interiors and high-end commercial spaces.

###### Luxury Lighting Details That Make a Statement

Every SNAPS pendant is a study in refined contrasts:

- Alabaster stone lighting elements provide a soft, ambient glow, perfect for luxury dining rooms, foyers, or open-concept living spaces.
- Premium leather straps and metal fittings offer tactile elegance and visual weight, ideal for creating statement lighting pieces.

In addition to our 3 standard leather options and 4 standard finish colors, you can customize SNAPS from Spinneybeck’s portfolio of custom leather colors and textures, and we can match any of 2000+ RAL colors for the metal fittings allowing interior designers to create one-of-a-kind luxury lighting fixtures.

I can take my time to find the perfect materials and build my own prototypes. The challenge was to reimagine what lighting could be, using creative design and unexpected materials. With SNAPS, I was able to push the boundaries of what's possible with innovative ways of using LEDs and leather to create something entirely new." # The System

The SNAPS system consists of leather straps, LED modules, alabaster diffusers, and multiple mounting solutions. This design allows you to create limitless shapes and configurations by combining these common elements in various ways. Each product comes with mounts to secure the strap or LED module to the ceiling, giving you the flexibility to swag the leather or let the alabaster/LED module hang vertically. The leather segments snap together effortlessly, making it simple to add additional segments that can be purchased separately to expand and transform your fixture to fill any space. It's easy to add more lights and configure the product to suit your design. This versatility is the core idea behind the SNAPS Collection.
